June means the return of our mountain friends! Marmots, chamois, ibex… which one will you be lucky enough to spot? It’s the perfect time to bring out your binoculars and enjoy some wildlife watching.
Keep in mind that snow is still present in some of the mountain hollows, so be sure to stop by and check which trails are open and marked, allowing you to explore with complete peace of mind.
Below, we’ve put together a (non-exhaustive!) list of things to do in La Clusaz. There’s something for everyone—young and old, thrill-seekers and relaxation lovers alike!

- Confins hamlet (5 km above La Clusaz): Lake, traditional old chalets, scenic walks, and a goat farm.
- Aravis Pass (7 km above La Clusaz): Stunning views of Mont Blanc on clear days, souvenir shops, restaurants, and walking trails.
- Beauregard Plateau: A high-altitude plateau at 1,600 m with hiking trails and panoramic views over the Aravis mountain range. Access from La Croix Fry (7 km from La Clusaz), then reach the plateau on foot (approx. 1-hour walk one way, 2 hours round trip). Access is also possible via the Beauregard gondola, open on weekends only from June 13 onward.
