  • Pointe de Beauregard
    74220 La Clusaz

The pitch

The Backside of Beauregard offers magnificent panoramic views of the Aravis mountains, as you follow trails through pastures and woodlands.

Opening

From 08/05 to 31/10 daily.
From spring to autumn, depending on snow and trail conditions, and under your own responsibility. Contact the Tourist Office for details.

Details

The route starts on a downhill 4x4 track (watch out for pebbles on the track), then hilly up to the Croix-Fry pass. It then continues on an easy forest track that follows the Tour de l'Andran loop. Shortly before the Col de Merdassier, the path forks to join a narrower, faster trail to Le Planet. Regular climbers will appreciate this part of the route. The trail then continues on a wider, faster undergrowth track, on which you'll need to be vigilant. Finally, the route ends with a gentler section for a leisurely return to La Clusaz.

Distance: 12.6 km / Ascent: 100 m / Descent: 720 m / Duration: 1h30 / e-Bike duration: 1h

Tarifs

Free entry but transport fee applies. If you choose to access this slope via the Beauregard gondola, you'll need a valid ticket or pass. The trail is also accessible from the village by mountain bike, via trail no. 48: Panoramic van Beauregard.
