Backside of Beauregard – Cross-country MTB track no. 20
-
Pointe de Beauregard74220 La Clusaz
The pitch
The Backside of Beauregard offers magnificent panoramic views of the Aravis mountains, as you follow trails through pastures and woodlands.
Details
The route starts on a downhill 4x4 track (watch out for pebbles on the track), then hilly up to the Croix-Fry pass. It then continues on an easy forest track that follows the Tour de l'Andran loop. Shortly before the Col de Merdassier, the path forks to join a narrower, faster trail to Le Planet. Regular climbers will appreciate this part of the route. The trail then continues on a wider, faster undergrowth track, on which you'll need to be vigilant. Finally, the route ends with a gentler section for a leisurely return to La Clusaz.
Distance: 12.6 km / Ascent: 100 m / Descent: 720 m / Duration: 1h30 / e-Bike duration: 1h
