This activity is a cross between hiking and mountaineering. 700 m long, the via ferrata "Yves Pollet-Villard" is equipped with ladders, footbridges, ramps and cables. Situated in the Borderan Mountain, the via ferrata is near the Aravis Pass road.
Details
The 700-meter “Yves Pollet-Villard” via ferrata is carved directly into the slopes of the Borderan cliff and offers a spectacular route, perched between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level. The rock faces are equipped with rungs, footbridges, handrails, and cables, making them more accessible. Located in the Combe de Borderan, the via ferrata overlooks the Col des Aravis road.
Pursuant to Municipal Ordinance No. 07/079, dated May 3, 2007, the via ferrata route is closed from November 15 to May 5 and, outside this period, if the inspection has not been carried out and if excessive snowfall makes the return trip dangerous.

Access to the via ferrata is prohibited by municipal ordinance from November 15 to May 5. Outside of this period, it is strongly discouraged if there is too much snow and/or if the safety inspection has not been carried out.)
