Passage de la Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc Classic

‍♂️ The Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc Classic - Bernard Hinault Experience is stopping in La Clusaz!

On Sunday, September 6, cyclists in the Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc Classic will pass through La Clusaz before tackling the Col des Aravis. Whether on the 105-km Challenge course or the 165-km Endurance course, participants will test their mettle on the iconic roads and mountain passes of Haute-Savoie.

With one year to go until the UCI World Championships, this is the perfect opportunity to come cheer on the riders, soak up the atmosphere, and experience this great cycling festival right along the route, in the exceptional setting of the Aravis Mountains.

See you in La Clusaz to cheer them on and make some noise! ‍♀️

PRACTICAL INFORMATION / ROAD CLOSURES:

- The road will be open in both directions between Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and the Lourdes roundabout in La Clusaz.
- The climb between the Lourdes roundabout and the Praise intersection (where the Col des Aravis and Col de la Croix Fry meet) will be one-way uphill only. The descent to the village must therefore be taken via the Route de l’Étale.
- The ascent to the Col des Aravis will be closed, except for those presenting valid proof (a reservation at one of the restaurants or proof of residence).
- The descent from the Col des Aravis toward La Clusaz will be closed to traffic.
- The descent from the Col des Aravis toward the Val d’Arly (La Giettaz, Flumet) will be closed to traffic in both directions.
- Access to the Col de la Croix Fry from the La Praise intersection will proceed as usual. On the descent, in the direction of Croix Fry to La Clusaz, access to the village will be via Route de l’Étale.

All of these closures and one-way traffic measures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Reminder: On all sections—whether one-way or open to traffic—both runners and other road users are required to obey the rules of the road.
