La Balme Race

The Balme Race is back for a second wild and crazy edition! Join us on March 29th from 11am on the Balme massif to see 11 international riders compete in a frantic race combining freestyle, speed and adrenaline!

Location:
Massif de Balme, Candide Thovex piste
Access by Balme gondola, then Col de Balme or Bergerie chairlifts.

Time :
11am to 4pm -> Qualifications and finals
4.15pm -> Prize-giving ceremony in the Balme parking lot

Race profile:
Riders will take it in turns to launch themselves from the mythical "Kick between the 2 bars", then hurtle down the Candide Thovex piste, jumping a total of 5 jumps to finish their race behind the famous "skiers' table". They will have to perform 5 jumps in the order they wish, and if they fail to do so, a 5-second penalty will be deducted from their time. The 5 best will qualify for their run to the finals.

Next to the finish area, on the play area behind the skier's table, you'll be able to return :

- Where you can dine on delicious burgers prepared by Le Grizzly restaurant.
- You'll also find the Woodcore store hosting a revamped DVA search and ski maintenance workshop.
- Of course, you'll be able to test and buy La Balme balms under the official tent.
- Deckchairs and music to enjoy the show
