Mountaineering basics with the Guides Office

The "Mer de Glace", the largest glacier in France and the fourth in the Alps, offers a legendary setting for learning mountaineering during our ice school!

This experience will provide you with the essential foundations to embark on your future high mountain climbs. You will discover or reinforce essential mountaineering techniques, such as the use of crampons, handling the ice ax, basic knots and rope walking.

Prepare for a unique experience in this exceptional glacial landscape, where you will develop your skills and self-confidence to conquer new peaks!

From June to September. Full day.
Beginner to advanced level. 300 m elevation gain. No prerequisites, good physical condition necessary to perform efforts for several hours.
