Dit gebeurde naar aanleiding van een gelofte die hij had afgelegd:<br \/>\n\u201eAlle krijgsgevangenen uit de oorlog van 1939-1940 waren teruggekeerd en tot 1945 waren er geen slachtoffers onder de bevolking te betreuren. \u201d<br \/>\nHet majestueuze beeld werd gebeeldhouwd door Jean-Constant Demaison, geschonken door een inwoner van Cluses, en het kapelletje werd gebouwd door de heer Taillot. Na de uitbreiding van het skigebied en de skiliften werd het kapelletje echter afgebroken en werd Christus Koning opgeslagen in de kelders van de school.<br \/>\nIn 2005 haalde de Association Patrimoine et Tradition de Christus Koning uit zijn winterslaap om hem hier op \u201cSur la Perri\u00e8re\u201d te plaatsen. De fervente ambachtslieden van het erfgoed hebben een kapel in een zeer lokale stijl uitgehouwen en gebouwd, en de Christus Koning daalde dankzij een helikopter uit de lucht neer!<br \/>\nGeniet van deze vredige en rustige plek!
